Behavioral Health Programs
Compass Intervention Center is a 108-bed, free-standing facility that treats children and teens, ages 10 to 17, struggling with a psychiatric, substance abuse or dual diagnosis disorder. It is the only TRICARE®-certified residential treatment facility in Memphis, Tennessee.
We are dedicated to providing age-specific programs to address the needs of children, preteens and teens with a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses, behavioral problems and substance abuse issues.
Our treatment programs focus on youth and families struggling with emotional, behavioral and chemical dependency issues. We provide specialized, individual treatment to help every patient achieve a positive outcome and improve relationships.
Family involvement is an important aspect of our treatment approach, and we encourage family members to participate because it helps cultivate a healthy environment for family communication.
CONTINUUM OF CARE
Ongoing success depends on the patient and family’s access to community resources that provide assistance and support. All our treatment programs assist in collaboration and consultation with outside agencies to help increase the patient and family’s access to community resources.
DUAL DIAGNOSIS TREATMENT
Dual diagnosis treatment offers elements of both psychiatric and substance abuse programming for individuals with co-occurring disorders. It includes an initial substance abuse screening, Seven Challenges groups, journaling and exposure to practice components in individual and family sessions.
