Services
Compass Intervention Center is an intensive residential treatment
program designed to address general psychiatric, substance abuse and
dual diagnosis disorders. Compass provides services for children
ages 6 to 11 and adolescents ages 12 to 17. Clients
attend program activities and school separated by age and sleep
separated by gender. Compass is a medical model program with 24-hour
nursing in a hardware secure physical environment.
Services are provided for adolescents with a long history of
psychiatric disorders, including self injurious behavior such as
cutting or suicidal thoughts, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety
disorder and concurrent substance abuse issues.
Parent involvement
is expected and is a vital part of the program. Each therapist
provides family therapy to all clients and their families. Within
the sessions, the therapist works to address family dynamic issues,
role conflicts, behavior modification needs and other tools needed
to improve the familial relationships. Also, family programming is
scheduled on-site every Sunday afternoon. Compass receives
referrals from all over the country and accommodations can be made
for teleconference family sessions when needed.

Residential Treatment - 24 hour medical model residential
treatment in a harware secure facility.
Day Treatment/Partial Hospitalization - intensive day
treatment from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday. |
